Developed in the 90s by Francisco Cirillo, the Pomodoro method works on the principle of creating a to-do list of all your jobs for the day. Set a timer and work on a single task for 25 minutes without a break until 25 minutes is up. Give yourself a 5-minute break, after which you repeat the cycle till you have completed four Pomodoro’s. Subsequently, you earn a more extended break of 15 to 20 minutes.
