Walter Elias Disney is the founder of Walt Disney and the pioneer of the American animation industry. He introduced several production developments for cartoons. But, Walt had a dream to create a magical kingdom. So Walt opened Disneyland in Anaheim, California, in 1955.
His vision was to have room to build landscapes, waterfalls, rivers, castles, a railroad, giant teacups, and flying elephants. Unfortunately, Walt Disney passed away in 1966. But his elder brother Roy completed the project.
Walt Disney’s dream came true in 1971 when Disneyland was inaugurated and became the first theme park to open in the area. Today, Disney World has become an enormous success, welcoming more visitors every year than any other vacation spot on the planet.
