She commended the cast’s acting and storytelling abilities while lamenting that she wouldn’t be able to collaborate with Baranski and Cush Jumbo, her co-stars on The Good Wife, and her pals (or, as she put it, “my buds”), again. Since the spin-off’s announcement, the fans have requested Alicia’s return to The Good Fight, and Margulies expressed remorse for not being able to do so.

Margulies might not be returning, but other Good Wife alumni like Alan Cumming and Carrie Preston will, as the September debut of The Good Fight draws near. The Good Fight’s sixth and last season premieres on Thursday, September 8, on Paramount+. Fans expressed their disappointment with not having Margulies on the show, with many stating that they would not be watching it because Margulies was the reason for the show.
