Hollywood A-Listers Who Have Completely Disappeared From Our Screens

Cameron Diaz established herself as one of Hollywood’s leading ladies during the 1990s and 2000s after storming onto our screens in The Mask, starring Jim Carey. However, she hasn’t acted in a film since 2014.
Diaz discussed her sabbatical from Hollywood on a panel at the In Goop Health event in 2017. When pressed, she stated that she had been working full-time in the film industry for nearly two decades and that she no longer felt “complete.”
“I just said to myself, ‘I can’t say who I am to myself,’ which is difficult to admit. I felt compelled to complete myself.” Diaz has not declared that she is leaving the film industry, but she has stated that she needs to recharge.
